Jodha Akbar

From his harem of 500 wives, he happened to prefer one over the others. A short, bowlegged man with a mole on his face, he married her to seal a political alliance and thus get more control over more lands. For peace also perhaps.

But still.

We make out a movie out of this? A love story we call it?

We make a movie out of anything.

I second her highness The Princess. Succulent, excellent, indicative of discerning tastes. Well done, kiddo :-)

In Jodha-Akbar, two of the most popular actors and actresses of the present period namely Hrithik and Aiswariya have played the role of Akbar and Jodha. Both have matured level of understanding and had done very well in the film.

we decide to make a movie abt this not because of the story or because of the actions of the characters.we choose to do so because of the name recognition factor associated with Brand AKBAR

n do not underestimate this brand.because in India this has the potential for a huge franchise.

The fact is once we decide to make the film, all historical facts regardin who the characters may be (as in what their personalities were like) or what they used to do ('From his harem of 500 wives, he happened to prefer one over the others'/'he married her to seal a political alliance and thus get more control over more lands') are rendered IRRELEVANT

as you can clearly see, this is demonstrated in realtime in the movie when you see a virtually 6 feet, somewhat muscular, Hrithik Roshan playing the role of AkBar!
